Oudje van Six Organs of Admittance, uit 2004. Hier de Pitchfork recensie uit dat jaar, een 8.0. Destijds een zeer gelimiteerde vinyl versie en op cd. Nu dus eindelijk weer eens op vinyl leverbaar, op Chasny’s eigen Hermit Hut Records. Een akoestische plaat van Ben Chasny. ‘On Paz, he’s discovered a handful of melodies in a rusty Hills Bros can, buried under the humus in a leafy green clearing. They still smell like coffee a little bit, but that aroma mixes with the smell of the woods, and carries them on humidity over the graves of caterpillars.’ Instrumentale akoestische ditties, een beetje in de Joost Dijkema hoek. Luister maar op bandcamp. Octavio Paz was trouwens een Mexicaanse dichtende diplomaat.
