Invloedrijke producer en gitarist Hamilton had ook een eigen label, waarop ie rond 1970 een stel gospel singles uitbracht, onder andere vanwege het simpele feit dat hij woonde tegenover de kerk waar dominee Franklin, van Aretha en al die andere kinderen, zijn New Bethel Baptist Church had. ‘The label had around 20 single releases and at least one album. The records were sold in the churches where the groups performed, and also got across the USA through plays on radio station WLAC. They must have been pressed in relatively small numbers, judging by the scarcity of the discs today.
