Prachtige plaat met mooie shoegazy/ dreampop/ noisepop liedjes op Joyful Noise van een band met leden van allerlei andere bands. Marina Tadic (Eerie Wanda), Bobb Bruno (Best Coast) en Thor Harris (Swans). En ook Melvins drummer Dale Grover doet mee. ‘The band was born from the romance of Tadic and Harding, and together with Harris and Bruno they make self-described “cuddlebug sludge”, the harmoniously spiky offspring of Harding’s fuzzy guitar grunge-gaze and Tadic’s dreamy left field pop.’ Doet bij vlagen flink denken aan The Pixies en The Breeders in hun respectievelijke beginperiodes.
