Lp op Paradise of Bachelors. Derde lp van Canadese zangeres. Zoals wel meer platen op PoB zit ook deze plaat van Jennifer Castle aardig met de wortels in de muziek van begin jaren ’70. Een zweverige mix van country, folk en seventies singer songwriters. ‘An ethereal, deeply poetic take on death, dying, grief and goodbyes’. Ondanks die zware onderwerpen voelt de plaat toch lichtvoetig en zomers aan gelukkig. Fans van hedendaagse zangeressen als Laura Veirs moeten ook zeker eens checken. Luister wat op haar bandcamp.
